Disclaimer
Every calculator on Calculators Cloud produces an estimate. Not a guarantee. Not professional advice. An estimate based on the inputs you provide and the formula applied to them.
This page explains what that means in practice and why it matters.
General disclaimer
The calculators, tools, and content on Calculators Cloud are provided for informational and educational purposes only. Nothing on this site constitutes financial advice, medical advice, legal advice, tax advice, or any other form of professional advice.
Results are mathematically correct for the inputs provided. Whether those inputs accurately reflect your real situation is something no calculator can verify. Real-world outcomes depend on variables that are specific to you, your location, your circumstances, and the current state of regulations and markets.
Use these tools to inform your thinking. Do not use them as a substitute for professional judgment.
Finance and investment calculations
Calculators covering mortgages, loans, compound interest, savings, investment returns, payroll, profit margin, ROI, and related topics produce estimates based on the values you enter.
These results do not account for:
- Lender-specific fees, terms, and conditions that differ from standard formulas
- Regional variations in tax treatment, stamp duty, or transaction costs
- Changes in interest rates after your calculation date
- Your individual credit profile and how it affects rates available to you
- Employer-specific payroll rules, benefits structures, or local withholding requirements
Mortgage calculations show what you would pay under standard amortization. Actual lender quotes will differ. Payroll calculations are illustrative. Actual net pay depends on your tax jurisdiction, filing status, and deductions.
Before making any financial commitment — taking a loan, signing a mortgage, changing a salary structure, or making an investment — consult a qualified financial advisor, mortgage broker, or accountant.
Tax calculations
Tax calculators on this site use published rates and standard calculation methods. Tax law changes frequently. Rates shown may not reflect the most current legislation.
Tax results are estimates. They do not account for individual allowances, exemptions, credits, deductions, or jurisdictional rules that apply to your specific situation. Tax calculations vary significantly by country, state, and municipality.
Do not use calculator results for actual tax filings. Consult a qualified tax professional or use officially approved tax software for any tax submission.
Health and medical calculations
Calculators covering BMI, calorie intake, body fat percentage, ideal weight, pregnancy due dates, heart rate zones, hydration, and related topics use established formulas from published medical and scientific sources.
These results are general estimates. They do not constitute medical advice or diagnosis. BMI, for example, is a population-level screening tool. It does not measure body composition, metabolic health, or fitness. A BMI result outside the “healthy” range is not a diagnosis of any condition.
Calorie calculators estimate energy needs based on standard equations. Individual metabolism varies. Results are starting points, not prescriptions.
Do not use health calculator results to make medical decisions, change medication, alter treatment, or self-diagnose. Consult a licensed medical professional for health decisions.
Legal and regulatory calculations
Some calculators on this site touch areas with legal or regulatory implications — estate planning estimates, insurance coverage estimates, and business compliance calculations among them.
Laws and regulations differ by country, state, and jurisdiction. They change. A formula correct in one jurisdiction may be incorrect in another. Results are illustrative only.
Do not rely on any calculator result for legal decisions. Consult a qualified lawyer or licensed professional for legal and regulatory matters.
Formula accuracy and updates
We source formulas from verified financial, scientific, and medical references. We update them when standards change. Formula sources are documented on each individual calculator page. The full sourcing process is described on our Methodology page.
Despite our best efforts, formulas can contain errors. Tax rates change. Medical guidelines are revised. If you find an error in any calculator, report it to support@calculator-s.cloud. We take accuracy seriously and correct errors promptly.
Finding an error after the fact and choosing to rely on an incorrect result does not transfer liability to Calculators Cloud.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Calculators Cloud, its operators, and contributors accept no liability for:
- Financial losses resulting from decisions made based on calculator outputs
- Medical outcomes resulting from health calculator results
- Tax penalties, filing errors, or regulatory consequences
- Legal or contractual consequences arising from calculator use
- Any other direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
The service is provided free of charge. Our liability is limited accordingly.
If you are in a jurisdiction that does not permit certain liability exclusions, those exclusions apply only to the extent permitted by local law.
Third-party and live data
Some calculators use live data from external sources — exchange rates, fuel prices, or market data. This data is provided by third parties. We are not responsible for its accuracy, timeliness, or availability. Live data calculators display a timestamp showing when the data was last updated.
Your agreement
By using any calculator or tool on Calculators Cloud, you confirm that you understand and accept this disclaimer. If you do not accept these terms, do not use the site.
